Professional Bio:
Peter Shodipo is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of post-qualification experience spanning operations, compliance, risk management, internal audit, forensic investigation, financial control, IT, HR, and investment banking. A 1998 graduate of Accountancy and Finance from Yaba College of Technology, he earned an MBA from Obafemi Awolowo University in 2007.
He is a Fellow of ICAN, CITN, the Compliance Institute Nigeria, and the Institute of Capital Market Analysts. He also holds certifications in IFRS (ACCA), forensic accounting, and balanced scorecard strategy. A Registered Professional with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN), he is also a Senior Associate of CRM. He has been SEC-sponsored since 2006.
Throughout his career, he has led numerous strategic functions across financial institutions and currently serves as the President of the Committee of Chief Compliance Officers of Capital Market Operators of Nigeria (CCCOCIN).

Professional Bio:
Segun Ilesanmi is a Chartered Certified Accountant, Compliance Professional, Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, Risk Manager, and Certified Data Protection Officer with over 15 years in financial services. His expertise spans Capital Markets, Asset Management, Investment Banking, Private Equity, and Securities Brokerage.
Holding a Bachelor’s in accountancy and an MBA in business analytics, Segun shifted to Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance 11 years ago. He has held key roles including Portfolio Manager, Treasury Manager, Pioneer Compliance Officer, Head of Compliance, and Head of Risk Management and Compliance.
Segun established Compliance Functions and revamped risk departments, achieving over 90% completion in annual compliance programs over a period of five years. He is solution-oriented, detail-focused, skilled in stakeholder management, and passionate about making data-driven decisions to drive organizational success.

Professional Bio:
Olalekan Olorunkunle is a seasoned compliance professional with over 14 years of experience in Nigeria’s financial sector. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Accounting from the University of Ilorin and is an Associate Member of ICAN, the Compliance Institute Nigeria (CIN), and the National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA).
He is also a registered Compliance Officer with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Olalekan has worked with various capital market operators, including issuing houses, broker-dealers, asset managers, and financial advisory firms, gaining robust hands-on experience in compliance, risk management, and regulatory reporting.
He has attended various trainings on capital market dynamics, IFRS, investment management, and anti-money laundering. He strategically contributes to the Nigerian capital market development via active participation in several trade associations’ committees.
ASSISTANT GENERAL SECRETARY
Professional Bio:
Tambari Adooh is Head of Legal and Compliance at MBO Capital, a seasoned corporate lawyer, Chartered Secretary, and compliance professional with over a decade of experience in capital markets, infrastructure finance, risk management, and corporate governance.
She previously served as Group Legal Adviser, Company Secretary, and Head of Compliance at Emerging Africa Capital Limited, leading legal advisory, regulatory compliance, ESG policy design, and mutual fund structuring, and later as COO of Emerging Africa Trustees Limited.
Tambari has a strong track record managing board secretariat functions, negotiating legal documents, and maintaining strategic regulatory relationships. She currently supports CCCOCIN as Assistant General Secretary, advancing compliance leadership and policy advocacy.
She holds an LL. B from Rivers State University and a B.L from the Nigerian Law School, and is a recipient of NLNG and Total E&P scholarships.

Joseph holds a B.Sc. in Bachelor of Science in Economics (1992) from the University of Benin, Master of Business Administration (MBA) 1998 from the University of Benin, Master of Science in Finance (M.Sc.) 2011 from the University of Lagos. A fellow of Institute of Capital Market Registrars (FCMR), and a Securities & Exchange Commission Registered Sponsored Individual.
He worked with Akintola Williams Delliotte & Co (1996); Cynosure Venture Ltd (2004), Business Development Manager; Partnership Investment Company Ltd (2007), Manager/Head Corporate Finance; Shelong Investment Limited (2014), Senior Manager/Head Corporate Finance. Professional Bio:
Musa Shonde is the Group Head, Compliance at United Capital Plc, where he oversees regulatory compliance across Capital Market Operators in Nigeria and the WAEMU region. He previously served as Group Head, ERM & Compliance at Pan-African Capital Holdings, managing compliance, audit, and risk functions across multiple subsidiaries.
His career includes key roles at Sterling Bank, Accion Microfinance Bank, Woodland Capital Markets, GTI Asset Management, and Anchoria Asset Management, where he led compliance and internal control functions. Musa holds a B.Sc. in Accounting and an M.Sc. in Management from Lagos State University.
He is an Associate Member of ICAN and ABWA, where he serves as a Council Member and Membership Secretary. A SEC-sponsored Chief Compliance Officer, he is also the Assistant Financial Secretary of the Chief Compliance Officers Forum in Nigeria’s capital market.

Abiola has a diverse skillset and a portfolio of notable achievements, demonstrating strong leadership as a paralegal officer at Bentley, Edu & Co., experts in copyright law. She held key roles as Client Service Manager, Head of Operations, and Head of Compliance at Investors and Trust Company Limited and STI Assets Management Limited, a Fund/Portfolio Management Firm.
She is a graduate of Business Administration from the University of Lagos. She is SEC-sponsored, an Authorized Dealing Clerk (ADC) at the Nigerian Exchange Group, an Associate Chartered Stockbroker (ACS), and a Designate Compliance Professional of the Compliance Institute of Nigeria (CIN).

Adetola Adeleye is a legal practitioner with 13+ years of experience in corporate law, capital markets, compliance, and governance. She is Managing Director at First Ally Trustees Limited and a Non-Executive Director at First Ally Properties Limited.
She has advised on mergers, acquisitions, and structured finance deals, delivering tailored trust solutions to clients. Adetola holds an LL. B (Hons) from Obafemi Awolowo University and an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a Dean Scholar.
She serves in key roles within NBA-SBL and is a member of WIMBIZ, GAIA Africa, and others. She received the ESQ 40 Under 40 award in recognition of her professional impact.

Sunday Oyekale is the Chief Internal Auditor at MRS Oil Nigeria Plc, leading the internal audit team since February 2022. He joined the company in August 2021 as Risk and Compliance Manager. He started his career as an Industrial Trainee at Nigerian Breweries Plc (2002–2003) and earned his HND from Yaba College of Technology.
In 2005, he joined Gbenga Badejo & Co. as an Audit Trainee, and after NYSC, he moved to Mutual Alliance in 2007, becoming Chief Compliance Officer by 2011. Sunday also served as Chief Compliance Officer at Heritage Capital Markets (2017) and Greenwich Trustees (2019).
With expertise in compliance, internal audit, risk management, and corporate governance, he has excelled in the financial services and oil and gas. Sunday enjoys reading, writing, football, and career seminars.
