Our History

Committee of the Chief Compliance Officers of the Capital Market Operators in Nigeria (CCCOCIN) was established in August 2013, under the leadership of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the primary regulator for the capital market in Nigeria. The Committee was formed as a strategic platform to elevate the standards of compliance practice within the Nigerian capital market, thereby contributing to its stability and growth. The CCCOCIN is made up of chief compliance officers from all the capital market operators within the Nigerian capital market. The Committee aims to promote a culture of compliance, foster collaboration and support the development of effective compliance programs in the capital market.
